The piece measures approximately 4" in diameter and 12" in length.

It is believed that both good and evil drift through the air, often manifesting into dreams. 

The dreamcatcher is hung above a place of rest where the sun will reach it in the morning. Both good and bad dreams get caught in the webbing while the good dreams travel to the center and then trickle down to the feathers to bless the dreamer, while the bad dreams burn off in the webbing come morning light.
